Exercise in Vegas

Well...well...well. I have actually kept up a pretty good training regimine as of late. I got in a pretty good run on Friday evening (around 6-7 miles) and hit a spinning class on Tuesday. The spinning class was taught by a different instructor and reminded me of my throwing water bottles post from about a year ago. It was pretty hard and I did want to throw my water bottle at the instructor everytime she yelled at us to "turn up the juice"!

I was supposed to do a duathlon after work today...but due to the recent shark attack on triathletes and the windy weather I am opting for a run instead. I think all I would be thinking about is a triathlete hungry shark.

I am off to go for a 5 - 6 mile run after work. I need to get some exercise in as I leave for Vegas tomorrow. Unless throwing dice and sipping boat drinks at Mandalay Bay count as exercise I am taking the weekend off. :)

Spinning classes

I made it back from my trip to Washington D.C. and New York in one piece. I didn't have any time for exercise so I was looking forward to coming back to town and getting in a little time at the gym.

I went to a spinning class last night. Surprisingly, they have not been that hard for me. I typically work out for a half hour and then hit the class and I have not had a real problem getting through it.

I am attempting another Sprint Tri this weekend through the SD tri club. Hopefully this one will go better than the last.
