Wow...I missed a whole month

I have been working and playing too hard and didn't realize that I actually haven't posted anything since August. This is the first time I missed a month since I started this thing. Must be the rat race I take part in on a daily basis...but you know what they say...

"The trouble with a rat race is that even when you win, you're still a rat"

I felt like a rat this morning driving to work. All the other rats on the freeway chasing the metaphorical cheese and getting stuck in the metaphorical trap.

"I don't want the cheese, I just want to get out of the trap" ... okay maybe I do want the cheese ... but that may be what got me in the trap in the first place. :)

I have two events planned for next week and am looking forward to both of them. An aquathon on 10/11 and a sprint tri on 10/13. I hope to have my race schedule updated by the end of the day.

Once again...I will attempt to post more regularly on this site. B/c you have to remember that "rats are the first to desert a sinking ship"...and I can't have all the rats out there not paying attention to my sinking ship of a blog.
