Good weekend of training
Bike: 61.8 miles Run: 6 miles
I had a really good weekend of training. I rode in the Tour de Palm Springs on Saturday and went for a 6 mile run on Monday.
I got to the bike ride pretty early so that I could find good parking. There were around 10,000 people in the ride. After I parked I took off on my bike to find the start line. I was riding for a while when I realized I was definitely going the wrong way. When I finally got to the start line I was already around 5 - 6 miles in. That made the 55 mile ride a 61.8 miler. The ride wasn't so bad. I could have run after the race if I had to, but I sure wouldn't have wanted to. I am not quite sure how I am going to fit a 1.2 mile swim in before the ride and a 13.1 mile run after the ride.
